Painting description

The painting is awash in cool blues, greens, and brown streaks of tree trunks, which cut the composition vertically like a curtain. In the center, the yellow circle of the moon shimmers, small but incredibly expressive, and beneath it, reflections of light shimmer in the water. On the left, a girl plays a flute; on the right, a crouching figure with a wreath looks almost like a forest spirit. It's a forest straight out of a fairy tale. The atmosphere is dense, quiet, and a bit unsettling; you can really feel the night's charm here. The artist used expressive paint strokes and the texture of the canvas, giving the scene a soft, not entirely real feel. I get chills because this painting is both beautiful and slightly wild, like a dream remembered in the morning.
