Painting description

An original from the period of the Haloimpressionism Faction’s existence, 2008. This is a so‑called iconic painting from the Ha collection, 2008, an original, on keyed stretcher bars, with a certificate. There are a few such paintings of mine; some are in the West (France) in private galleries, and they are very expensive there as well. I was painting then in a musical trance; this particular painting alludes to the fate of Polish willows, which have unfortunately been gradually disappearing from the landscape—for example here in our Lubusz region—usually cut down, burned on a bonfire or in a stove, deemed unnecessary, set alight from within (like me), and seen as obstructions by the roadside or at the edge of fields. They are almost never—indeed, invariably not—protected or regarded as a natural monument, a phenomenon and a symbol of fairy tale and fantasy; and so here is the image of a willow, but only as a memory now—because burned, like Joan of Arc. Haloimpressionism is neither marketing nor fiction.
