Painting description

The painting depicts a woman in a red dress, whose intense color contrasts with the pale, almost gray background. The dress is richly adorned, and its ruffles add dynamism to the figure. Even so, everything seems to stand still. The woman looks straight ahead, her eyes like two gleaming jewels. A mixture of determination and mystery is written on her face. In the background there is an unusual element—a butterfly flying past, as if caught in motion. There is something of a dreamlike quality to the whole scene, as if it were drawn from a fleeting dream. The atmosphere is at once calm and tense, full of hidden emotions. The artist seems to have employed chiaroscuro, creating depth and a sense of three-dimensionality. The word that comes to mind is "enigmatic." It’s a bit like a fairy tale I see with the eyes of my imagination.
