Painting description

This painting is painted on felt using oil, but enriched with my own techniques. It features an impasto effect with large textures, as I enhance the oil paints with additional pigments and plasticizers. This painting is from the "In My Garden" series and depicts one of many butterflies and insects painted in the same format.
