Hand-signed by the artist in the lower right corner ("Dali"). Above the signature there is a dedication by the artist in pencil - "Pour Rene Toutain". The work is part of the series "Hommage a Meisonnier", which consisted of 4 different lithographs made in 1967. Printed by Desjobert and published the same year by WUCUA in a limited edition of 150 hand-signed and numbered copies by the artist. This painting is an artist's proof created outside the limited edition. Another 150 copies were printed on Arches vellum paper and signed and numbered personally by the artist. Additionally, 2000 unsigned copies without borders were printed on vellum paper as part of the book. The painting also features in the lower left corner a beautiful pencil drawing by Salvador Dalí of a knight on a unicorn - a recurring motif in the artist's works. Provenance: Collection Rene Toutain. Rene Toutain was the director of Atelier Draeger, one of the most prestigious graphic studios in Germany in the 20th century. Reference number: Field 67-2 (A) Condition: Paper discolored over the entire surface, crease along the entire length from the upper left corner to the lower right; various creases over the entire surface and also on the right edge of the paper creases from the metal element.
