Painting description

In this painting we see two birds, each separately immersed in its own slightly mysterious world. The colors transition from deep shades of blue, through grays, to subtle hints of orange. The overall composition creates a sense of deep calm and reflection. The artist, using the impasto technique, added surface texture, which draws the eye and adds depth to the scene. Slightly blurred shapes create a dreamlike effect that can lead the viewer toward their own dreams and reflections. The atmosphere is somewhat melancholic. It reminds me of autumn mornings, when everything is still quiet. I thought: I wonder what these birds are thinking. There is something in it that is both sad and beautiful. Maybe these birds are us, contemplating our reflection in a puddle? The piece evokes feelings of contemplation, perhaps longing. It feels as if time has stood still. My brother would say the birds have cool shoes. This painting leaves plenty of room for individual interpretation. Everyone sees something different, which is perhaps the greatest strength of this work.
