Painting description

The painting is dominated by an intense red background that draws the eye like a neon sign. In the middle, you can see a genuinely bored gray cat sprawled on a branch. His eyes are slightly drooping, as if even the large moon in the background did not impress him. Stars? They stand out, flashing at us with a golden glow every now and then. Who doesn't like stars? My favorite color is blue! The artist focused on contrasts - the warm colors of the moon and the colder shade of the cat's fur create a dynamic combination. The technique is a mix of traditional watercolor paints with deep marker contours that emphasize the form and add a cartoon style to the painting. There is a slightly surreal, dream-like mood to it. I don't know if it's part of a dream or rather some kind of fantasy. Maybe it's a dreamer's vision of the night, when all the creatures of the world yawn in anticipation of the next day. It's a bit like our daily struggles - sometimes we have had enough and just want to lie down. It's fascinating how a little color and contours can evoke so many feelings!
