Painting description

The painting features a majestic horse's head, captured in dark, warm tones of brown and golden reflections. Its eye, gazing at us, full of life, seems to hold a certain mystery. Shades of light subtly illuminate the mane, adding dynamism and depth. The entire composition is carefully considered – focused on detail, making the horse seem almost tangible. Chiaroscuro plays a key role here, creating an intimate atmosphere of peace and reflection. Kej, as my grandmother calls it, the true poetry of pastels. The artist used the impasto technique, where thickly applied paint adds texture, creating the illusion of movement in the thick coat. He also deliberately employed an almost photorealistic style – although a longer look reveals impressionistic brushstrokes. The emotions evoked by this painting, hmm... one might feel melancholy, another, awe at the beauty of nature. This incredible bond between the viewer and the painting is indescribable. A kid might say, "Someday I'll have a horse like that, right?" Looking at the painting, we feel a sense of warmth and peace. Time seems to stop for a moment. It's beauty and peaceful strength in all its glory. Wow, that horse is so real!
