City of Łozowsko Wielkie …and when the Artist’s palette blooms—the City of Łozowsko Wielkie erupts into a mad meadow. A brushstroke turns its streets into a blossom-strewn promenade. Spring, Summer, and Autumn sweep Winter into their arms, whose whiteness seems to pulse with the insomnia of talkative grasses. Among them—the Smitten, lovingly hidden beneath the purple of hats, intoxicated with themselves and caring nothing for the Envious peering at them through the spiderweb of a dandelion clock. The dresses of the Poppy Ladies rustle like tissue under the wind’s fingers. In coquettish half-smiles, the flower-people juggle the senses. The Łozowsko meadow lives in a ceaseless dance. The seasons need no master of ceremonies—they mingle their colors, beguile with scents, seduce with forget-me-not rapture and cornflower evanescence, go to your head with the promise of an apple-pie blush... Paint runs from the palette as a shock of blades, a tulle of petals, a wanton river of perfumes. Sometimes it weaves itself into ethereal bouquets, sometimes scatters in a storm of floral confetti, sometimes spreads softly over a cat’s back.
