Painting description

In the painting, the sky swirls with color. Yellows, whites, and greens spread in broad, expressive streaks, as if the wind were stirring the paint live. Lower down, a heavier zone of reds, burgundy, and pink appears, and the calm surface of the water reflects the entire fiery spectacle. The sun is small, almost inconspicuous, but it does its job. It's like a huge, glowing cloud and the sea. The composition is expansive, the diagonal bands lead the eye across the canvas, a bit wild, a bit poetic. You can feel the expressionism and the thick, free brushstrokes, almost abstract in places. The painting evokes anxiety, but also delight; seriously, something tugs at my core. For me, it's a landscape about the end of the day, but perhaps also about the end of something important—slightly sad and very intense.
