Painting description

This painting is a true symphony of colours. Lots of intense colours – from the deep blue of the sky, through the intense green of the grass, to the fiery red of the roofs. The buildings surrounding the square in the centre create a real kaleidoscope, each with a different palette, which makes it hard to look away. The composition is dynamic, with numerous perspectives, leading our attention in different directions. The atmosphere is full of energy and life, you can almost feel the pulse of the city. The style is a bit like comics, with strong contours and simplified details, which gives the whole thing lightness and humour. The artist uses techniques that mix tradition with modernism, plays with conventions, crossing them with finesse. The painting evokes various emotions. You can feel the joy of discovering every nook and cranny, but also a hint of nostalgia for places we know from childhood. For me, it is an "amazing" experience to look at such a work. You can feel a bit like a child in a huge, cheerful labyrinth. Looking at this scene takes one back to vacations, to peaceful walks through the bustling streets.
