Painting description

The painting is dominated by intense colours: a turquoise background, contrasting with the black, white and warm brown of the instrument. The figure plays the double bass, leaning forward in concentration. The dynamics captured with brushstrokes, raw and spontaneous, convey the energy of the moment. The short lines that create the instrument and the figure are a bit careless, but that is what gives them life. The mood of the painting is full of passion and emotion. You can almost hear the music flowing from the double bass. The artist uses simple but decisive lines and intense colours, which give the painting a characteristic style. There is a certain nonchalance, freedom here, as if the artist said: "Details do not matter, only expression". Painting exudes joy. The painting reminds me of my childhood, when I tried to play the violin. Excitement, but also chaos. Looking at this work, I feel that art does not have to be perfect to be moving. I imagine that for some it could be a story about daily efforts and love for what you do. It's wonderful how a painting can move you and inspire you to think.
