Total size including frame: 30×30 cm. This afternoon has the flavor of cherries and the softness of a ripe peach. Dark eyes gaze delicately, as if knowing every secret of the fruit, which ripens not only on the plate but also in one's mind. Cherry earrings seem to whisper of summer picnics, of the sun that clings to the skin like juicy juice. The colorful background pulsates like a colorful melody – rhythmic stripes, a checkered corner, streaks of light, and the warmth of yellows that dance around the figures like an afternoon, fruity echo. This is a moment that takes its time. It savors itself. The painting was created using impasto, with thick layers of oil paint applied with a palette knife. The texture is clear and plastic – convex, and in places almost sculptural, allowing the light to highlight the shapes of the face, hair, and fruit, changing the intensity of the colors with the time of day. The dress with red polka dots was intentionally blurred unevenly to give the appearance of fabric whose texture moves with the body.
