The painting measures 120x100cm. It was exhibited at the Academy of Theatre Arts in Wrocław in 2026. The painting presents an organic, amorphous form composed of overlapping layers of sepia and graphite-black pigment flowing against a light background. The delicate interpenetration of tones and soft, smooth transitions create a sense of depth and the gradual disappearance of shapes, exploring the boundaries between control and randomness in the creative process. The stain, with its varying density and saturation, reveals subtle inner contours and fragments with a more pronounced edge, lending the composition rhythm and inner tension.The artistic gesture here is subordinated to the process – the painting is created through the controlled absorption and pouring of the medium, and its final form is a record of the interaction between water, pigment, and the ground. The work operates solely through the relationship of light and shadow. The work is distinguished by its sparseness of means of expression and its pursuit of minimalism.
