Inspired by the sophisticated beauty of a butterfly, 'Blue Moon' captures elegance, depth and intricate attention to detail. Starting with a base layer of textured acrylic McCullock builds up layers of detail. Ombre coloured metal leaf, gold paint, inks and clear and coloured resin have all been used to create a captivating 3-dimensional image. Her initial is in bas-relief on the bottom left hand corner of the canvas-encased in resin. Signed on the reverse and strung ready to place on the wall.
