Vibrant , stylised, colourful flowers have been painted onto a canvas board. Hand made mulberry paper is used to replicate the paper thin qualities of the flower heads and provides a platform for the delicate exchange of colours .The close up photograph reveals the use of gold powders which produce the shimmering effect mentioned in the title. The painting is signed on the reverse, and is ready to frame. The size of the canvas board used is compatible with many made up frames available. Thus alleviating the need to purchase an expensive bespoke frame. Please be aware that the interior image is for illustration purposes only and therefore not exactly to scale, nor does it show a frame. This would make an ideal gift, and the artist is happy to provide an accompanying hand written calligraphic message should it be required .
