Painting description

McCullock's latest textural abstract , 'Ametrine' :- Thick paint has been applied impasto style to a deep edge canvas creating a background of tiny fissures. This has been appliquéd with fine lines of white paint, to create a sense of rapid movement and deep texture. The surface has been sealed with clear matt acrylic varnish to enhance and protect. Finally, textures have been highlighted with bronze coloured metal leaf for an added dimension and to give the wow factor.
