Jowita Szmigiero

Jowita Szmigiero is a professional artist who has devoted her artistic talent to animal paintings and drawings, mainly horses. She skillfully applies various techniques to create animal artworks for exhibitions, galleries but also individuals who want to add a special feel to the interior décor of their homes or workplaces.
Her expertise does not stop there though! She is very passionate for art photography and reportage, sculpture, graphic arts, crafts and photomontage.
Not only does she enjoy painting, she also devotes half of her time to teaching her skills to children and young people.

On many occasions her students have won trophies at arts competitions in categories such as sculpture, drawing and painting.

Jowita is a graduate from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus.

Her career as professional artist runs for more than 20 years.

Since 2005 she has exhibited her work in renowned art galleries in Edinburgh, Łódź, Rzeszów and Berlin.

In 2011 she won the first prize and gold medal in the competition of the International Federation of Photographic Art FIAP.

For many years she ran an art-gallery at the State House of Culture in Lodz.
