Painting is for me…
Force of nature. Something that is completely beyond my control. Colors, faces, words… All those things are spilling out of my head, taking shapes all on their own account. Thoughts are transtaling themselves into a language of symbols and become reality. Painting is a snapshot of Imagination itself.

What was your first sold painting?
I sold my first painting in 2004. It was a portrait of my best friend with and old building in the backgroung. Three colors: blue, black and grey.

One secret you could reveal to other Artists is…
The whole point of a secret is that it’s a – secret!

I am inspired by…
History and present. My house is full of books about art, which I know by heart now. I interpret works of old masters giving them new life, new colors, compositions. I’m inspired by Poland. I’m watching my country from the outside now, but it lives within me with beautiful memories.

When was the last time you were nicely surprised?
Invitations to participate in Touch of Art was a nice surprise!

A party isn’t good without…
The will to be there :)

You’d like to have more…
Myself…? I’d like there to be two of me- one in Poland, one in Los Angeles. One sleeping, the other one not. Telepathically connected, always together but in two different places.

Do you like nights?
My biological clock usually sets itself during vacation. I go to sleep at 4am and wake up at 1pm. For every day though- I like nights- for sleeping :)

I love it when…
When it’s raining- this is always such a good excuse to wrap yourself up in a blanket, drink hot tea, eat sweets and stay home watching movies.

A cat or a dog?
Cat. I like dogs too. Here’s a difference: dog is like a child, cat is like a good friend.

If I couldn’t paint any longer…
Photography. And maybe I’d finally finish writing my book :)

Your favorite dish?
I have addictions which change periodically. At this time- Indian food is THE thing!

Music…

I’d like to spend immortality as…
28 year old girl who never gets old.
